This hand painted old masters style muslin backdrop has undergone an extensive, manual layering process to provide a stunning mottled finish. Due to its hand painted finish, using enivornmentally friendly dye, each backdrop features bright, vibrant colours and is completely unique!

Reversable and usable on both sides, the backdrop can be attached to your chosen background system using the stitched rod pocket, suitable for cross bars up to 5cm in diameter. As well as hanging, the backdrop can also be wrapped under, over or around props, products and people, as well as draped, gathered or cinched this multipurpose backdrop is extremely versatile making it perfect for photoshoots.

The backdrop is made from 100% seamless muslin cotton with unhemmed edges. It is a substantial 3 x 6m / 9.8 x 19.6ft offering you a large photographic background space.

Tip: To add texture, why not try crumpling your backdrop, or if you want to achieve a more seamless look, you can gently steam or iron the background

Care Instructions & Information:

  • Not machine-washable or suitable for dry cleaning
  • Care should be taken not to get the backdrop wet, ensure it is not saturated when steaming or ironing
  • When ironing you may want to protect your ironing board to avoid paint transfer
  • Please shake before use, it is normal to experience some light paint dust rub off when handling, this will diminish over time
  • Both sides of the material may not sit flush together when hung and edges may curl slightly, this is the nature of the natural cotton material
  • To prolong the life of your hand painted backdrop, we recommend spraying it lightly with a fabric protectant spray otherwise it may fade over time
  • The natural dye may smell – this is normal and completely harmless
